Overcoming Adversity In Night Photography, sponsored by Gradus Group Details
Let’s face it, making images in an (apparent) lack of light seems counter-intuitive. Yet hardy and intrepid night photographers continue to pursue their craft. There is and always has been a symbiotic relationship between night photographers and the tools used to make images. Without one, there would be no other. Explore with Matt how the right gear has historically and presently expanded creative horizons when patiently chasing the long exposure.

Monday, July 13th - 4-6pm
Surviving and Thriving in Your First Kickstarter Fine Art Photography Campaign
Free to attend with RSVP at B&H's Event Space
It’s not enough to just want to make a Kickstarter project. You must study, prepare and practice before launching. And even then, after you launch, the thrill ride has only just begun. And if you want people to back you for your art, it’s even more of a challenge in this age where most things visible are considered free or “less valuable” because of ubiquity.

Matt’s successful Kickstarter campaign in November 2014 raised nearly 200% of the asking pledge goal, and he will, for the first time, share how he prepared for, ran and fulfilled his Kickstarter fine art photography campaign. He’ll also share what he would do differently if he were doing it again for the first time.
